Haul-Out Guidelines
The following guidelines will assist in making your haul out experience at Shelter Island Marina and Boatyard as smooth as possible:
Valid liability insurance
When phoning to book a haul out, the marina staff will need as much information about your boat as possible. Name, Length, Type of Vessel, Insurance Verification, Owner name and phone number.
Overnight moorage at the Travelift Slips must be pre-approved by the Office. Vessels impeding the lift area will be subject to additional charges.
Boats over 50 feet in length or over 18 feet in beam, boats with “bat wings”, catamaran or boats of unusual design will require further information prior to arrival.
All customers are required to sign the Dry Storage Contract and the Boatyard Rules and Regulations before or after the haul-out in the Office.
No Cash = No Splash. All boats require full payment before launching.
