Shelter Island Marina and Boatyard hosts two of the largest Travelifts on the West Coast of British Columbia.
Our 75 Ton Travelift is capable of hauling boats up to 80 feet in length and weighing up to 165,000 lbs. The 75 Ton Travelift has been purchased in 2025 and it has the ability to move sideways (Crab walking).
The 220 Ton Travelift has been in service at Shelter Island since August of 2013. This lift has the capacity to lift vessels up to 130 feet in length with a 29 foot beam making it one of the largest on the West Coast.
Both travelifts were purchased from Kendrick Equipment of Richmond, BC and the assembly and training are completed by Marine Travelift of Wisconsin where the machines are manufactured.
