We accommodate up to 300 vessels with both linear and finger slips available.
Shelter Island Marina & Boatyard Inc. offers a modern well protected freshwater facility with more than 8,000 linear feet of freshwater moorage on the Fraser River. We are located 14 nautical miles for Sand Heads and 10 nautical miles from Steveston.
Both short term and long-term Moorage is available. Competitive Prepay rates are available for your convenience. Significant savings are made when Semi-Annual or Monthly payments are chosen.
Moorage Liveaboard Program
We offer liveaboard moorage in the marina for a monthly fee. Please click here to download our application form.
You are considered a liveaboard if your boat is used as:
A principal residence
A temporary, seasonal or secondary residence for 14 nights or more.
Our liveaboard fee includes access to garbage and recycling, water, parking, washrooms, showers, laundry, access to office staff, mail collection, hydro.
For an additional fee, we offer the following services:

Shelter Island Marina’s Moorage rates are estimated by your vessel’s length in feet. please enter your vessel's length in feet (30ft - 75ft) to see our current possible rates.
UTILITY MOORAGE: $160/Month $150/Month
Add $25.00 per month for each additional person over 2
Moorage for vessels using the 220T Travelift charged at 220 Daily Rates
Hydro is metered based on use
Hydro meter use is the boat owner's sole responsibility.
45 days notice required when vacating moorage.
No subletting of space is permitted in the marina.
All vessels MUST have current comprehensive insurance.
All vehicles must be registered in the office
Unauthorized parking will be towed by Rusty's Towing
Monthly Customers must sign a new contract by 1/1/25 and provide SIM with Post-dated checks, Authorized Credit Card , or Banking PAP/PAD.
